Call For Papers

Background of the Event
Requirements for seamless modelling between indoor and outdoor environment related to BIM (Building Information Modelling) are increasing. It is needed to discuss on photgrammetric aspects focusing on the topic.

Themes of Event
The ISPRS WGIV/7 and WGV/4 are organising a workshop to provide a platform for researchers to present and discuss their work in the various aspects of Indoor-outdoor Seamless Modeling, Mapping and Navigation.

The topics of the workshop include but are not limited to:
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Construction Information Modeling (CIM)
  • CAD and Indoor GIS
  • Closed range photogrammetry, Image-based modelling
  • Point cloud
  • Indoor Location-based Services (Indoor LBS)
  • Augmented Reality (AR) applications
  • Wearable sensors,Mobile devices
  • Human-computer interface
  • Automated semantic description of urban environments
  • Disaster prevention in indoor environment
  • Archeology
  • Autonomous robots

Paper Submission and Publication
Accepted papers will be published in the ISPRS Archives. Authors of selected papers might be invited to extend their paper for possible publication in special issues of International Journals. Prospective authors are encouraged to consider the following possibilities for submission:

Papers for ISPRS Archives (Abstract review)
Submitted full papers will be published in the ISPRS Archives. These paper are limited to 6 pages in ISPRS format.

- Abstract submission: 20(Fri.) February, 2015 (Extended)
- Notification of acceptance: 20(Fri.) March, 2015
- Final paper submission: 17(Fri.) April, 2015

You are kindly asked to prepare your paper/abstract as PDF file locally on your own computer, using the templates supplied below, and then to submit the PDF you have generated.
  • Use the template for WORD (doc) or LaTeX (tex) to generate your paper/abstract as a PDF file.
  • Upload your prepared paper/abstract (PDF file).

Important Remarks
  • We recommend that the contribution is carefully compiled and thoroughly checked, in particular with regard to the list of authors, before submission in order to avoid last minute changes.
  • The submission of a contribution carries with it the obligation that it is actually presented at the meeting by the author or by one of the co-authors.

  • A welcome party will be hosted at in the Venue.
  • The cost of the welcome party will be included in the registration fee.
